I have always liked the Fast Company for being ahead of the curve. Their content is always interesting and they report on cutting edge developments in business and technology. It was with great interest that I read their latest list of 100 Most Creative People in Business 2013. I thought it was awesome that Kirthiga Reddy , the Head of Facebook in India is in the top 10 of this illustrious list with a high rank of No. 4.
As the article says, “When Kirthiga Reddy opened Facebook’s India office in 2010, the site had just 8 million users in a nation of 1.2 billion people. Since then, she’s grown Facebook India ninefold, to 71 million as of the end of 2012–healthy growth, given that only a tenth of Indians have Internet access.”
Way to go, Kirthiga. One hears great reports about the work culture in Facebook, and I would like to congratulate you warmly on this terrific achievement.
You will see that the most creative people come from different walks of life, cultures and callings. And yes, you don’t have to be an Einstein to be creative in business.
