An issue that engages,pun intended, the attention of top managements everywhere is that of employee engagement! Simply put, employee engagement is about the degree of commitment employees show in their work. This is demonstrated by their willingness and ability to stretch beyond the usual standards required. A recent survey by Kenexa

reveals some good news for top managements in India. As per the survey,  India scored the highest  amongst the countries surveyed @ 71 % . I was fairly surprised to see that the lowest ratings went to Japan @38 %. Surprised because I carried the impression that Japanese employees were highly engaged. Unless times have changed!
