Delighted to find an old friend and fellow alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur is in John Sumser’s list of Top 100 Influencers– he is none other than Gautam Ghosh, known far and wide simply as GG.
Gautam is a role model for many in the new age where the best HR practices have to be strongly linked to anchors young people seem to seek on the net- where perhaps they spend more time than anywhere else! I have found Gautam to be a practical, level headed kind of guy despite all the praise he has received over the years for his professional contributions and constant search for innovation. He was one of the first to understand the value of a personal brand on the internet, doing this years before it became commonly spoken off.
The List put together by John Sumser makes for interesting reading- considering the diverse backgrounds of the people featured and their contributions to managing people.
I am glad for GG. Well done, Gautam and may you continue to be a source of inspiration for those who follow you on the net in your different avatars.
