More information can be had from The International Diabetes Foundation’s website on World Diabetes Day. I would urge all parents and those associated with bringing up children to read the page on Diabetes and Children.
The Fitness Centre at Saffola Life.com has lots of material on diet and activities for growing children. This will enable them to fight the danger of getting this dreadful disease. Many times parents are responsible for the slovenly ways of children simply because they neither have the time or the energy themselves to attend to the needs of their children. Peace is bought by allowing them to eat what they want, when they want. By and large, more healthy pursuits are buried to give preference to the more handy computer games or simply to loll around and watch movies and TV whenever they have a minute to spare.
Parenting, I believe, has a very important role in the development of children. They are such wonderful assets. Please take good care of them.
