The plight of school children in India, especially in the metros, calls for some comment. The load they carry- and I mean in physical terms- seems to be increasing year after year. We now see kids lug multiple bags or strolleys of a type that earlier were seen only in airports. Seeing them so loaded with bended backs, one is tempted to ask if they are migrating somewhere. We know the answer though. They are just going to school.
