I am sure in our time all of us have come across managers we have judged as being incompetent.  I was interested to read a list put together by Margaret Heffernan writing about 10 Signs of Incompetent Managers in Fast Company.

Which made me think, what would my list be like? To my mind, incompetent managers have the following characteristics:

  1. They are unworthy of trust
  2. They have stopped learning
  3. They are poor trainers and coaches
