Many posts of late on “Play” rather than work in ” People at Work & Play”. I guess for the subjects of these posts our “Play” is their “Work”!!
Tremendous achievement by India’s Jhulan Goswami to be awarded ICC’s International Woman Cricketer of the Year.
The award winner was chosen by a panel of experts on the women’s game and Goswami beat Lisa Sthalekar of Australia and England’s Claire Taylor to take the honour. Goswami is the second winner of this award after former Australia captain Karen Rolton took the prize last year.
Needless to say, this will go a long way in boosting women’s cricket in India. Congratulations, Jhulan. We are proud of you.
