BPO Top 20 in India

The total export by third party service providers from India was Rs. 20, 890 crores( 1 crore=10 million). The contribution of the DQ BPO Top 20 was 77 % of this.

Dataquest India’s popular rankings of the Top 10 BPO players for 2006-07:-

  1. Genpact
  2. TransWorks
  3. IBM Daksh
  4. TCS BPO
  5. Cambridge Solutions
  6. WNS Global Services
  7. Wipro BPO
  8. Convergys India
  9. Firstsource Solutions
  10. HCL BPO

These rankings are based on revenues. The top 20 together had revenues of Rs. 16,094 crores, a growth of 59.4 % over 2005-06, employing 216,967 people directly, a growth of 36.3 %.

Special mention must be made of TransWorks which rocketed from rank 23 to rank 2 and TCS BPO which moved from rank 20 to rank 4.
